Getting there is simple, from any direction.

From the airport

The local airport is Falcone e Borsellino, about 30 km away.
  • Taxi / private transfer — approximately 30–40 minutes
  • Train: Trinacria Express direct to Palermo Centrale — about 50 minutes

From the train station

The main one is Palermo Centrale.
  • Distance: approximately 1 km
  • On foot: 10–15 minutes along Via Roma
  • Taxi: about 5 minutes

By car

Palermo is connected via the A19 Palermo–Catania and the A29 Palermo–Mazara del Vallo. Once in the city, follow the signs for the center / Via Roma.
Note: the historic center may have limited traffic zones (ZTL). Check access or use nearby car parks.

From the airport by bus

Direct bus service Prestia and Comandè, active all day.
  • Duration: approximately 40–50 minutes
  • Stops: city center and Palermo Centrale (the most convenient is along Via Roma)
